The parents of an adult infant named "Child", played by Todd Haynes, attempt to expel him from their home, by casting magical spell seen in a television documentary about Malaysian rites of passage.

The life of an advertiser does not look successful: the work brings income and satisfaction, the beloved woman agreed to get married. Finally, he learns about war, and upon visiting his father's factory, he finds out that they supply the two countries at war with their weapons...
